In 1903, from their humble Manchester premises, Failsworth turned out just 25-dozen hats per week. By the 1940’s they were making 5,000-dozen hats per week, even contributing towards the war effort by hand-crafting flying helmets for the RAF and ‘special equipment’ for commando frogmen.

Today Failsworth is known for introducing new twists on popular models, introducing new fabrics, textures and colours.
